Crazy Spring Weather

So when spring started, I knew the crazy weather wouldn't be far behind. It was up to 60 something yesterday, and then I woke up this morning and it was snowing! Ugh. It was heaviest where I work at the airport, really big fat flakes. And it was foggy there too, very wierd. At least it melted in the afternoon. I'm hoping the storms start soon, I miss thunderstorms, even though they only last for about five minutes here in the desert.

Happy First Day of Spring!

Spring is sort of in the air around here, it was pretty warm today, and it rained this morning, though I heard it snowed in some places. I just hope the valleys are done with snow for this season, though I seem to remember is usually snowing at least once in April every year. Here's hoping we get lucky this year!

Spring is my second favorite season, my first being fall, of course. It's just too bad that spring leads into my least favorite season, summer. The only good thing about summer is the fresh fruit. Otherwise everywhere is too crowded, its too hot outside, and everyone is running around half-naked. Maybe that's why I love fall so much, by August I'm desperate for summer to end. Especially now that I live in a desert!

Happy? ;) (need...emoticons!) Anyway, I was just on the U of U website, and as of today they have both of my transcripts, so now my application is officially In Process. So please cross your fingers for me, everyone! I hope I hear something soon so I can begin working on getting financial aid.
In other news, there was a hideous spider on my black work-issue jacket the other day, and I almost put it on! Luckily I saw it before I did, just barely in time. Ugh. So I dumped the jacket on the floor, and used my old jacket I had in the car instead. But then when I got home from work, I carried the jacket outside, and saw that the spider was still there! I didn't want to shake it out in case it got on me, so I squished it in my jacket, and now there's spider guts on it! Icky!
